LSC-Schiphol uses Google Analytics on this website, Google Analytics is a web analysis-service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "analytic cookies" (small text files that will be stored on your computer) to help analyse the use of the website. This information allows LSC-Schiphol to improve the quality and effectiveness of its website.
LSC-Schiphol is not required to ask permission from visitors of the website for the use of these analytic cookies, as long as they have taken the 4 steps included in the “handleiding vriendelijk instellen van Google Analytics” from the College Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (Dutch privacy authority).
LSC-Schiphol meets the aforementioned 4 steps and would like to inform you on this topic:
- LSC-Schiphol signed a processing amendment with Google;
- LSC-Schiphol has set-up Google Analytics privacy-friendly, which means that the information is anonymised as much as possible. The IP-address consists of 4 so-called octets of each 3 digits. LSC-Schiphol has chosen to mask the last octet of the IP-address;
- LSC-Schiphol has switched off the option “share data with Google” in the standard setting of Google Analytics. This means that the collected data will not be shared with Google or other parties. LSC-Schiphol also hasn’t allowed Google to use the information it receives for other Google services;
- LSC-Schiphol informs visitors of its page on the use of Google Analytics.
Finally we would like to clarify that LSC-Schiphol does not use any other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
